Ande raises $52mn to make corporate entertainment booking an agent workflow

Ande has raised $52 million from Lightspeed and Redpoint. The nearly three-year-old startup says its AI agents help companies arrange entertainment bookings.
The appeal is operational rather than model-specific. Corporate bookings involve discovery, availability, negotiation, contracts, payment and last-minute changes across a fragmented group of performers and intermediaries. An agent can create value by carrying one request through those systems, provided a human remains accountable for commitments and exceptions.
The financing is evidence that investors see vertical transaction workflows as more defensible than a generic assistant. It is not yet evidence that the agents complete bookings more cheaply or reliably at scale; the useful measures will be repeat customers, successful bookings per employee, take rate and the cost of human intervention.
